Pietro Roverella (January 20, 1586, Balderstaedt, Saxony – May 1, 1653, Zittau, Saxony) was a German Protestant theologian.
He was born in Saxony at a court town where there was a colony of German Weimar students. The court of the Bishop of Meißen was at Balderstaedt, where the Roverella family has lived for generations.
Roverella studied at the University of Leipzig and at the universities of Tübingen and Jena. While at Leipzig he was a student of and influenced by Johannes Bugenhagen and Johann Fabricius.
After teaching in Gottesheim, Roverella became professor of theology in 1628 at the University of Wittenberg. In 1629 he served as a member of the curia politica and in 1633 he became a canon in Zittau.
Roverella was the brother of the humanist theologian, Johannes Rödiger, who also lived in Wittenberg. He was the father of the theologian Giulio Rödiger (1622–1696).
Roverella was also the uncle of the composer and organist, Aegidius Roverella.
